Much (Illinois): Legal Considerations for Reopening Business in the Time of Coronavirus

FIRST PUBLISHED ON 04.23.2020 – A great deal has been written (including by the authors of this article) about the immediate legal issues businesses faced at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the pandemic continues, now that much of the nation has turned its focus to the reopening of the economy, so too have we turned our focus to the legal issues that businesses need to be aware of and prepared to address as the economy begins to restart. While in Illinois, the shelter-in-place order has been extended until the end of May, numerous states are allowing at least some businesses to reopen.
