FIRST PUBLISHED ON 05.11.2020 – In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Massachusetts legislature and Governor Baker enacted the law H.4647 (the “Act”) placing a temporary moratorium on most evictions and foreclosures. Since that time, the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (“EOHED”) released regulations, mandatory notices, and standard forms to ensure compliance with certain provisions of the Act.
