In the early hours of March 14, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (H.R. 6201). The bill now heads to the Senate, where it is scheduled to be taken up on March 16 and expected to pass with few revisions. President Trump has publicly expressed support for the bill. In addition to various public health provisions, the bill includes many provisions that will directly impact employers.
