The federal government and states across the nation have taken unprecedented action to prevent the spread of COVID-19. On March 21, 2020 Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-20, which closed a number of restaurants, theaters, performance venues, gymnasiums and other places of public accommodation.
